HowTo: ACS150 fitted to Technogym Run 600 XP Pro Treadmill to replace Hitachi's SJ100-015NFE
A drive from our stock was supplied on a same day delivery for a Technogym Run 600 XP Treadmill. The original Hitachi SJ100-015NFE had failed, after providing excellent service and was replaced by Dean Wright of Telford.
The drive was an ACS150 rated at 1.5kW. This is a general purpose Inverter Drive, used for many applications including; small machine tools, conveyers, energy saving fans and pumps, small hoists, turntables, food processing machines and many other applications in all areas of Industry.
The Hitachi Inverter has a number of setting changed from the default values. They are as follows...
F6 - Ramp up time set to 15 seconds
F7 - Ramp down time set to 15 seconds
A0 – Set to 2 for high starting torque.
A1 - Set to 1 for motor rating in kW.
A26 – Set to 1.5, so the drive turns off when the setpoint is below 1.5Hz.
A27 – Set to 97 as max speed for the setpoint.
A42 – Set to 0 to disable reverse rotation.
A48 – Set to 1 for 0/10V analogue input.
A63 – Set to 98 for Max frequency of 98Hz
C0 – Set to 09 for external trip function on one of the terminals.
C20 set to 01 for relay contact function.
(Not sure what the C20 function is, but this is expected to be ‘Fault’ or ‘Healthy’).
