ABB - Universal Brake Chopper - NBRA-669C

Universal Brake Chopper for use with Frame Size R8, ACS800 0400-07, 690V 3 ph Inverter having access to DC+ & DC- terminals.  

Rating for use with 690V Inverter:-
Drive and Chopper will withstand 375kW for 10 seconds every every minute
Drive and Chopper will withstand 375kW for 30 seconds every every minute.
Continuous Power (Heat) Dissipation of the Resistor is 13.5kW - The braking is considered continuous if the braking time exceeds 30 seconds
Minimum External Resistor set required: 2.7 Ohms (Use 3 x 9 Ohms Resistors in parallell - shown below.  Further selections can be made by using the 'Which Resistor' button below)

Parallel Brake Chopper connection is available for higher braking powers.

Dimensions: 334mm Wide x 240mm Deep x 583.5mm high.
Mounting: 4 x 7mm holes at 200mm x 562mm for rear mounting.
